On 17 November, 2011 a group of companies (hereafter the Group), affiliated with PJSC CB «EUROBANK», signed the deal on acquiring the banking business of SEB group in Ukraine. The main asset within the terms of the agreement is controlling interest in PJSC «SEB Bank». International corporate clients of SEB group have been excluded from the agreement. The deal is supposed to be completed in the middle of 2012.

The Group is currently working on the strategic development plan of its banking business for the coming 4 years. The bullet point of the plan is further development of the Bank, purchased under the terms of the agreement, as a full service bank: it will keep on providing its services to private individuals as well as legal entities.

A number of companies belonging to Oleksandr Adarich are parties to the agreement on behalf of the Acquirer. Mr Adarich is a professional banker with 18 years of track record in the most influential financial institutions (PrivatBank and UkrSibbank) of the country. During the period of 2002-2008 he acted as CEO of UkrSibbank, which in 2005 became the part of international BNP Paribas group and as of today is one of the biggest banks with foreign investments in Ukraine. Having obtained the experience of managing a bank in the local market as well as best foreign practices of organizing banking business, Mr Adarich continues his activities in Ukrainian banking sector. The Group focuses its interests in both banking and non-banking sectors. PJSC CB «EUROBANK» and «Sparta» investment group are the main assets of the Group in the financial sector. The Group is also focused on investing in most attractive sectors. Currently these assets include among others logistic business and investments in estate property.
